FAO-GCF Project training-main

WEE Pros has successfully completed a nationwide technical assistance and training assignment under the Green Climate Fund (GCF)-financed BRCCJ Project – “Building Resilience to Cope with Climate Change in Jordan,” implemented by FAO Jordan. The assignment targeted four climate-vulnerable governorates in southern Jordan: Madaba, Karak, Tafila, and Ma’an.

In close coordination with local stakeholders and civil society organizations, WEE Pros designed and delivered a comprehensive training program focused on green construction practices, water-saving technologies, and climate-smart agriculture. The training engaged hundreds of participants from municipalities, community organizations, and the private sector, with strong participation from women and youth.

The program supported national priorities outlined in Jordan’s National Adaptation Plan, National Water Strategy, and Green Growth Strategy, and was delivered in line with the Jordanian Green Building Guidelines. The sessions were structured to promote local ownership, cross-sector coordination, and practical knowledge on sustainable infrastructure and climate adaptation.

This project reaffirms WEE Pros' commitment to advancing inclusive, climate-resilient solutions across the region through strategic partnerships and capacity building.
