SRK Camp

WEE Pros GmbH is supporting the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) to develop a comprehensive feasibility study for a sustainable water supply system in SRK camp. The feasibility study will provide a detailed technical assessment of the available water sources, specifically two boreholes, focusing on both quantity and quality. Additionally, the study should present technical, operational, environmental, and financial options for the utilization and treatment of the boreholes, evaluating whether these options represent the most effective and cost-efficient investment program.

The specific objectives of this feasibility study are:

  • Assess the quantity and quality of water from the two existing boreholes in relation to the drinking and domestic water needs in SRK camp and ensure compliance with WHO and local standards.
  • Assess the current status of the boreholes and recommend necessary rehabilitation for civil, mechanical, or electrical equipment.
  • Propose a suitable treatment option for the pumped water, ensuring that the selected option aligns with available market solutions in NES.
  • Evaluate the cost-efficiency and market capacity of the proposed treatment option.
