Jordan
WEE Pros, in partnership with Dajani Consulting, has begun implementing a comprehensive Supply and Demand Analysis for Green Products in Jordan. Commissioned under GIZ’s Green Action in Enterprises (GAIN) project, the study will assess the current landscape of green product markets in the country and identify opportunities to strengthen green business ecosystems. This work directly supports national policy frameworks such as Jordan’s Green Growth Strategy, the Economic Modernisation Vision, and its international climate commitments under the Paris Agreement.
Over the course of seven months, the project will be implemented through a series of integrated work packages. The first phase includes an extensive desk review and mapping of green product suppliers, combined with field-level data collection using surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions. The team will engage private sector actors, consumers, public institutions, and relevant stakeholders to understand supply dynamics, purchasing behaviors, and barriers to market growth.
The second and third phases will focus on analyzing market trends and developing actionable recommendations. These will include proposals for policy interventions, market development incentives, and potential areas for investment and support. A final action plan will outline concrete steps for scaling up green product adoption and enabling a more circular, sustainable economy in Jordan.
This assignment demonstrates WEE Pros’ commitment to supporting green transition efforts across the MENA region. By combining deep sectoral expertise with a data-driven approach, WEE Pros and Dajani Consulting aim to deliver insights that will guide national efforts to build a more resilient, resource-efficient economy.
