WEE Pros is pleased to support the “Water Skills” initiative led by the DWA, a nationally recognized platform promoting vocational excellence in the water and wastewater sector in Germany.
The initiative will take place as part of World Water Skills 2026, hosted during IFAT 2026 from 4–7 May 2026 in Munich, Germany. The event brings together young professionals, industry experts, and training institutions to demonstrate and advance practical competencies through hands-on, real-world challenges in water and wastewater operations.
Through its engagement, WEE Pros contributes to ongoing efforts that promote skills development, knowledge exchange, and innovation in water-related professions. The initiative aligns closely with WEE Pros’ broader commitment to supporting sustainable water management and capacity building in international contexts.
Building on this engagement, WEE Pros is actively working to introduce and adapt the “Water Skills” competition model within the MENA region. The aim is to support the development of a new generation of skilled water and wastewater operators by promoting practical, performance-based training approaches. By collaborating with regional stakeholders, utilities, and training institutions, WEE Pros seeks to contribute to upgrading workforce competencies and strengthening the operational performance of water services across the region.
